Seven more Liebherr’s for ESEASA

Mexican crane company ESEASA has ordered a further five Liebherr Rough Terrain cranes along with two All Terrains.

The latest order includes two 90 tonne LRT 1090-2.1 plus three of the new 130 tonne LRT 1130-2.1 Rough Terrains, plus a 120 tonne LTM1120-4.1 and a LTM 250 tonne 1250-5.1.

The LRT 1090-2.1 will join the five LRT 1090-2.1 that the company took in March along with two LRT 1100-2.1. The all new 130 tonne LRT 1130-2.1 was unveiled at Bauma and features a seven section 60 metre main boom, which Liebherr claims is the longest on any two axle Rough Terrain crane. A 10.8 metre to 19 metre bi-fold swingaway extension with offsets of up to 40 degrees can be extended with a seven metre insert for a maximum tip height of around 88 metres.

Operations director Aldo Santos said: "We have been buying Liebherr cranes for a long time and have hardly had any problems. The units are sophisticated and retain their value very well. We appreciate the similar operating principle across all crane types.
