Liebherr is in the process of delivering a large number of new All Terrain cranes to UK rental customers, as many small to medium rental companies expand and update their fleets to take advantage of some of recent closures and fleet liquidations.

Two 60s for Sutch
In the English North West, John Sutch has taken two 60 tonne three axle Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 as part if its fleet expansion programme.. They will be based at its Liverpool and Manchester depots and join a Liebherr fleet ranging from 45 to 90 tonnes.
The units include 48 metre main booms topped by a 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway for a maximum tip height of 67.5 metres, in the UK it can travel with its full 12.8 tonnes of counterweight and extension on board. The new crane features ECOmode and ECOdrive systems for improved fuel consumption and VarioBase outrigger set up.

Another LTM 1040 for Marsden

In nearby Wigan, fast-growing Marsden Crane Services has taken delivery of another 40 tonne two axle Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1, its third LTM 1040 since it began buying new cranes in 2017. Other deliveries have included 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1s. The LTM 1040-1.2 features a four section 35 metre main boom and can be equipped with a 9.5 metre swingaway extension. It can travel in the UK with its full 6.5 tonne counterweight or meet 12 tonne axle loads with its 1.5 tonne fixed counterweight. The crane comes complete with VarioBase and full remote control.

The company is based in a purpose-built facility in Wigan covers a region extending from the Midlands to the Scottish Borders.
