the GMK6450-1 features a five section 60 metre main boom and when rigged with the 25 to 79 metre luffing jib, can achieve a maximum tip height of 136 metres. The crane has also been customised by Manitowoc’s specialist consulting division, Lift Solutions, with a unique boom removal system that provides axle loads of under 10 tonnes. A secondary suspension circuit was also installed that automatically adapts the chassis to the different axle loads, in order to gain the maximum travel benefits from the lower axle loadings. The crane was also supplied with the optional MegaWingLift attachment, which increases capacities at steeper boom angles, along with both luffing and fixed jibs. The cranes were sold and will be serviced by KranAgentur Werner.
