New Flagship for Kuşgöz İzmir Vinç Kiralama
Turkish crane rental and heavy transport company Kuşgöz İzmir Vinç Kiralama has taken delivery of a new 800 tonne Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1, which becomes its new flagship crane, a role previously held by a 500 tonner.
The nine axle LTM 1750-9.1 travels with its 52 metre main boom and once on site up to 91 metres of lattice extensions can be added along with the Y-guying Superlift system to achieve a maximum tip height of just under 160 metres with the main boom extended to 49 metres, a 19 metre extension between the boom nose and jib pivot point with the full 91 metres of luffing jib. The maximum radius is 116 metres at which it can handle 1.81 tonnes. The capacity on the fully telescoped main boom is just under 100 tonnes - or 208 tonnes with the Y-Guy system installed.

Company owner İsmail Kuşgöz said: "We plan to use our new crane for tasks that cannot be done by 500 tonne mobile cranes and are not economical for crawler cranes due to the high transport costs. The dimensions of the luffing jib make it easy to transport. What's more, the 800 tonne crane makes it easier to assemble and disassemble. Thanks to self-assembly, quick and convenient rigging can be carried out with little space required."
Based in Izmir, Kuşgöz İzmir Vinç Kiralama was established in 1986 as a contracting business and entered the crane rental market in 1993 and began renting its cranes overseas in 2004. Its fleet includes All Terrains, heavy crawler cranes and self-erecting tower cranes. It carried out its first wind farm contracts in 2007.
