Chief commercial officer Simon Massey said: “Our existing CC3800-1 has proven its worth. Because they come with a variety of load options, these machines offer flexibility for complex challenges. We’re looking forward to it arriving later this year, ready for work in 2024. The crane will be Tier 4F, Euro 5 compliant and will join Ospreys mostly Liebherr fleet which consists of a CC2400, an LTR1100 and an LTM1200 to name a few.

Based in Portishead near Bristol, the Osprey business was established more than 25 years ago and runs several divisions, including Heavy lifting, Port services and Abnormal loads. The mostly Liebherr crane fleet includes a 1,000 tonne LTM1800D and 800 tonne LTM1800 cable suspended telescopics, plus a 550 tonne LG1550 and 750 tonne lattice truck cranes. It also runs around 120 Self-Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMTs).
