Another dealer for Tadano America

Tadano America has appointed rental company Lennon Crane as an authorised distributor for All Terrain, Rough Terrain, truck cranes and telescopic crawler cranes in the Washington and Oregon markets.

Lennon Crane is based in Monroe, Washington, north east of Seattle, its core business is ‘full service bare rental’ – where the customer provides the crane operator, but Lennon provides repairs and service support. The company also sells cranes and provides parts and after sales services.

Founder and president Gordon Lennon began his career as an equipment manager at Hertz Equipment Rentals, leaving in 1975 to set up Lennon Crane in Bellevue, Washington. In 2011, his son Scott joined the company from Ritchie Bros Auctioneers, becoming vice president and now general manager. The company runs a fleet of around 50 cranes – mostly Rough Terrains and telescopic crawlers, covering over a wide area of North America including the western states and parts of Canada.

Gordon Lennon said: “I’ve been in the crane business for almost 50 years and have bought, sold and rented cranes around the world. Over the years, we have owned about every crane brand out there, including a few that have been forgotten. We plan to continue to grow our fleet and resources with Tadano as a partner.”

Justin Andrews of Tadano added: “We look forward to working with Lennon to help grow both of our businesses. Our existing and new Tadano customers in Washington and Oregon will benefit from this expansion in our distributor network.”

Tadano America is by far and away Tadano's largest single trading operation outside of Japan, typically representing almost half of all export sales and a third of its total revenues. Lennon Crane is the second distributor that the company has appointed this month with CraneWorks signing up just over a week ago.

I bought a crane from Gordon Lennon way back in the nineties. A good crane salesman, and a gentleman.

Congrats to you and your son Mr. Lennon.
