Harsco reports strong Access growth
Harsco, parent of SGB the scaffold to powered access rental company, has reported a 36 percent increase in its access revenues in its first half of 2007, to $677.1 million, with operating profits rising by 58 percent to 84.3 million.
The Improved performance was, the company says, due to continued strong end-market conditions in the global non-residential and infrastructure build markets.
Particularly strong results were seen in the U.S., Poland, the Middle East, Holland, the U.K. and Southern Europe. Harsco also credits the strong performance on the Company’s further investment in access services rental equipment, and continued high utilisation rates.
The company says that its outlook for the Access Services Segment is expected to remain positive for 2007 and beyond.
