Production of the CE version of Snorkel's recently launched 13ft S3013 mini electric scissor lift is now underway at its European plant in the UK.
Shown as a prototype at Conexpo last year, the new machine has a 5.8 metre working height with drive at full height and a platform capacity of 272kg. Overall width is 760mm, with an overall length of 1.44 metres, although this can be reduced to just under 1.4 metres with the steps removed. The stowed height is 1.86 metres with guardrails in place and the overall weight 815kg. Drive and steer are all electric leaving the self contained lift cylinder as the only hydraulics on the machine.

Production of the Ansi version began in late last year at the manufacturer's plant in Kansas, while design and testing of the CE version was finalised and the European production line installed. The first units are due to ship in the next couple of weeks or so.
