Dutch crane and access sales and rental company Van Ginkel has taken delivery of three 34ft Hyrax telescopic crawler mounted self-levelling boom lifts. Two of the three are the ATE 27.12 electric models with lithium battery pack, while the other is the diesel powered ATD 27.12.

The two models are structurally identical with two section booms and a jib with180 degrees of articulation for a working height of 12.6 metres and up to 8.75 metres in outreach. Platform capacity is 270kg and the overall weight is 2,720kg. The overall width ranges from 1.75 metres stowed to 2.2 metres with tracks fully extended.
Founded in 2004, Van Ginkel has shifted from one focused on earthmoving and steel erection to the crane and aerial work platform rental market. Based in Barneveld, between Amersfoort and Apeldoorn, the fleet includes All Terrains, mobile self-erecting tower cranes, telescopic crawlers and large loader cranes, while the aerial lift fleet includes all type from trailer and truck mounts to booms, scissors, mast booms and spider lifts. The company also operates a fleet of 360 degree telehandlers up to 35 metres/7,000kg.
