Employees at the Potain plant in Charlieu, France celebrate the 1,000th GTMR 386.
Launched in 1989 GMTR 386 units have been shipped all over the world including France, Germany, Turkey, Cuba, Russia and Turkmenistan.
David Havard, Potain’s global product manager for tower cranes, said:“The GTMR 386 is perfectly suited to residential construction, such as apartment blocks or hotels."
"In addition, customers like them for their powerful load charts, at 50 metres, the 386 can lift 1.5 tonnes or 4.1 tonnes on a 31 metre jib.
This makes them ideal for moving steel formwork and concrete buckets.
