Italian truck mounted lift manufacturer GSR has joined the ‘National Made in Italy Day’ with an event at the Istituto Tecnico Tecnologico (ITTS) ‘O.Belluzzi- L. Da Vinci’ in Rimini, northeast Italy, to introduce a new generation of young people to the many benefits of joining the company and the access industry.
The event - "GSR: technology, safety and innovation to reach higher" - was proposed by the National Association of the Automotive Industry (ANFIA) of which GSR is a member.
Getting a closer look at a platform
The morning kicked off with students gaining hands on experience with various equipment and aerial lifts with full explanations of the equipment, components, technology and personal protective equipment. It was then followed by a classroom presentation highlighting GSR's evolution from manufacturing wooden ladders to designing and producing aerial work platforms also delving into the transition from cranes with baskets to dedicated aerial work platforms.
