Atlas loader cranes has appointed Drive Products USA, as its crane distributor for the USA.
Drive Products, based in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, was originally set up by Greg Edmonds in Toronto, Canada in 1983 to supply products and systems for all manner of truck mounted equipment.
The family owned business is now managed by chief executive Robert Edmonds and operates from two locations in the USA - Elkhorn and Winters in Texas - due west of Dallas. The company also has 23 locations in Canada. Products include Versalift, Dur-A-Lift and Aldercote vehicle mounted aerial lifts for the utility market, along with cranes and service bodies from Auto Crane, Stellar, Cobra/Next Hydraulics and Tiger Cranes. It has also been selling HMF articulated loader cranes.
Robert Edmonds said: “With over 40+ years of experience, Drive Products has established itself as one of North America's leading truck equipment solutions providers. We are staffed with trained professionals experienced in systems engineering, manufacturing, installation and repair services for mobile and industrial applications. Drive Products launch of the Atlas brand of cranes for the US market will occur through our established Wisconsin and Texas operations that include both Upfitting and Distribution divisions. We are also committed to bringing work-ready trucks from Class 5 to 8 to market through key truck dealership relationships. We will also hold crane inventory at both locations to support a growing distribution network in the United States.
