The 65,000 square metre plant is located in the Salinas Victoria municipality, on the outer north side of Monterrey in Nuevo Leon, and is expected to begin production in 2026. At the moment it is scheduled to produce skid steer loaders rather than telehandlers. The new plant is expected to create 600 to 800 jobs in the region.

The ceremony was attended by Bobcat managers, business owners and local dignitaries. Mike Ballweber, president of Doosan Bobcat North America said: “We look forward to growing our manufacturing footprint in Salinas Victoria due to its excellent industrial sector, skilled workforce and strong business environment. Our investment here demonstrates our confidence in this manufacturing environment and thriving local economy.”
