Two more Alliance members

UK based APL (Aerial Platforms Ltd) and Elavation have joined the Access Alliance, the association of independently owned regional rental companies.

Based in Leigh, west of Manchester APL was established in 2008 with 24 machines and three employees, with equipment delivered by Land Rover and trailer. By the end of the first year the fleet had grown to 50 units, and now runs a fleet of 800 machines, including boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers, as well as a large transport fleet and a team of 40.

Managing director Jason Seddon said: “Joining the Access Alliance is a great opportunity for us. We look forward to working with other independent businesses that share our commitment to quality. This partnership will help us offer better coverage across the UK for our customers."
The APL depot

Elavation platforms was established in 2004 in Milton Keynes with a team of four which has now grown to 30, running an 800 unit fleet which includes scissor lifts, spider lifts, mast lifts and telehandlers. It also claims to operate the largest fleet of hybrid booms in the UK from its Wolverton base in the city. The company also runs an IPAF accredited training centre in Milton Keynes.

Our predominantly hybrid and electric fleet is a great fit with the Alliance’s focus on innovative and sustainable solutions. Being part of this network will enable us to extend our reach and improve our service to clients across the UK."

This expansion highlights our commitment to providing comprehensive access solutions and strengthens our ability to meet the diverse needs of our customers across the country."
