Marketing moves at JLG
David Baxter, currently director of marketing for JLG in North America is to move to a new post of director of marketing for JLG’s aftermarket business.
JLG is planning to increase the focus on its after sales support services, which include replacement parts sales, accessories and factory rebuilds. Baxter will continue to be based at the companies Hagerstown, Maryland Headquarters.

In Europe Malcolm Early JLG’s European marketing director, based in Amsterdam, has accepted a senior marketing post with Volvo excavators which will allow him to move back to the UK, as well as presenting new challenges.
Early said that he is sorry to be leaving JLG at such an exciting and positive time in its history, but that the opportunity with Volvo was too good to turn down, and fitted perfectly with personal family events.
Early joined JLG in early 2005 from the Manitowoc crane group and relocated from Tyneside in north east England to JLG’s Hoofdorp offices in Holland. He leaves at the end of the month.
JLG is looking to recruit a replacement to head up its European marketing operation.
