Kito Crosby supports Fallen Patriots Foundation

Lifting equipment supplier Kito Crosby is to donate $75,000 to the US based Fallen Patriots Foundation which provides college scholarships and educational counselling to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.

Approximately 25,000 children in the USA have lost a parent in the military over the past 35 years with 60 percent of families struggling to make ends meet. Fallen Patriots Foundation says it needs $625 million to fill the gap between government assistance and the cost of a degree. Since 2002, Fallen Patriots has provided nearly $66 million in college scholarships to more than 3,400 students.

Between now and the end of October, Kito Crosby will donate $500 for every Crosby, Harrington, Peerless, or Acco training event the company hosts in America as well as all proceeds from the Crosby User's Guide for Lifting online training course.

Melissa Ruths of Kito Crosby said: "We are honoured to partner with Fallen Patriots Foundation for the fifth year and are proud to support such an important cause and help raise enough this year to cover the cost of three college scholarships for young people who have been affected by military casualties."
