German rental company Wir-Vermieten has joined System Lift, the German access rental franchise association improving the organisation's coverage of the region near the Dutch border in northwestern Germany.
Based in Wilsum, Lower Saxony, Wir-Vermieten runs a fleet of 56 platforms including boom and scissor lifts, along with forklifts, tower and mobile cranes. The company covers the area from Nordhorn to Emsland including cities such as Lingen, Meppen, Haselünne, Emsbüren, Spelle or Löningen. Wir-Vermieten also operates an operator training centre.
Manager Jan-Philipp Kaptein said: “We are very pleased to be part of the System Lift network. As a result, our customers will not only benefit from our own rental fleet based in the region, but also have access to over 21,000 additional machines across the country. In addition, we are convinced that we can offer great added value to our customers in the region with the System Card operator training programme. These are undoubtedly unbeatable arguments to be able to serve all customers and projects individually.”
System Lift chief executive Malte Bilau said: “With Wir-Vermieten we are expanding both our partner network and our coverage, providing a better service in a very interesting region of northwest Germany and even into the Netherlands. In addition, we are of course convinced that we have found an innovative partner in Wir-Vermieten.”
System Lift has around 80 rental company members almost all of which operate fleets of aerial work platforms and telehandlers. Their combined aerial lift fleet exceeds 20,000 units including 2,000 forklifts across 135 locations in Germany and neighbouring countries.
