Norwegian sales group Hybeko has acquired Danish distribution company Jøma Lift Teknik, which handles Genie, Dino, and Leguan in Denmark as does Hybeko in Norway and Finland. Jøma is also a Teupen spider lift and Ixolift low level platform distributor.
Based in Kolding, central Jutland, Jøma was established in 1999 by Jørgen Martinsen, today it covers the country with four regional field based managers.
Speaking of the rationale behind the move Hybeko said: “With Jøma in Denmark Hybeko will be a true Nordic dealer with good representation in all the Nordic countries. Jøma fits perfectly in with Hybeko, as they have the same view and dedication on the balance between aftermarket and sales. With our expanded Nordic presence Hybeko will now be able to coordinate not only with machines and service but also to make sure that all our customers benefit from an even more experienced team of people.
Chief executive Espen Johannessen added: "We are thrilled to welcome Jøma to the Hybeko family. Jøma has an extensive experience in the market and a strong customer focus. We both believe in, that if we take care of our employees, they will take care of our customers. We are really looking forward to working together in the near future.”
The newly acquired business joins Liftexperten in Sweden and Hybeko Finland, taking the Hybeko group regional coverage to 20 locations and more than 120 employees.
