The remaining ML Crane group businesses - Crane Service Inc, ML Crane and Winslow Crane Service have merged into a single corporate entity under the Crane Service Inc banner.
The move follows the involvement of asset purchase and restructuring advisory company NCI- Nations Capital Inc, which was called into the ML Crane group in 2022 At that time ML also included Marks Crane & Rigging, Chellino Crane and other smaller companies. Then last year Bay Crane acquired the Chellino Crane business, followed by its Mid Atlantic operations earlier this year.
The announcement said: “By uniting these industry leaders under one name, Crane Service Inc is now able to offer: access to an expanded fleet, comprehensive support services, a wide range of support equipment, storage solutions, and a more efficient service from estimating to scheduling, and billing."
The Crane Service in leadership team remains unchanged with Dave Matz as chief executive and chairman, who said: "Customers can expect the same dedicated teams they know, with enhanced capabilities and efficiency.”
President Ben McKinstry added: "We're excited to bring together the strengths of ML Crane Group, Winslow, and CSI under one brand. This integration allows us to offer even greater value and service to our customers. While our name and logo have changed, our commitment to safety, reliability, and excellence remains stronger than ever."
Founded in 1960 – Denver, Colorado based Crane service was acquired by ML Holdings in 2007 and offers a wide range of equipment with around 150 cranes, including All Terrains, Rough Terrains, lattice and telescopic crawlers, pick & carry cranes, as well as telehandlers boom lifts and fork trucks from six locations - Des Moines -Iowa, Albuquerque - New Mexico, Amarillo, El Paso and Sweetwater, in Texas as well as the base in Denver.
