Kuwaiti contractor La'ala Al Kuwait Real Estate has taken delivery of six new Tadano GR Rough Terrain cranes, they include three 30 tonne GR-300EXs, one 50 tonne GR-500EXL and one 80 tonne GR-800EX, while the last unit to arrive is the 145 tonne GR-1450EX. All six have gone to work on the Sabah Al Ahmad Sea City Project in the Al Khiran region of Kuwait south of Kuwait City.
The new additions take the La'ala Al Kuwait Rough Terrain fleet to 13 units and were purchased through long term Tadano distributor Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al-Babtain.
La'ala director of infrastructure & construction management Matthew Roden said: “These cranes are already proving their value, especially with their pick & carry capabilities, which are being effectively applied across our extensive infrastructure works. They complete the expansion of our fleet and positions us well to handle the diverse challenges presented by the project.”
“We chose to switch to Tadano due to their reputation for exceptional quality and robust technology. The final decision was made easier after receiving positive feedback from other clients in Kuwait. We are grateful to Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al-Babtain and Tadano for their timely deliveries and ongoing support for our business activities.”
