Manitowoc has appointed NFT Hong Kong is the new Potain crane dealer for the territory The Hong Kong company is part of NFT Asia which includes NFT Taiwan and other subsidiaries.
NFT Hong Kong already runs 40 Potain tower cranes in its rental fleet, and sells new and used cranes to contractors, and in some cases other rental companies. Due to the nature of Hong Kong and possibly its past links with the UK with its oversailing rules, luffing jib models are particularly popular. European models like the MR 418, MR 608, and MR 618 along with locally designed and produced MCR 625 are the most prevalent models.

High capacity flat top cranes from Potain’s plant in Zhangjiagang, China have also found their niche in the market.
To celebrate the appointment NFT Hong Kong hosted contractors, real estate developers, engineering firms, and others to an event attended by NFT chief executive/partner Nabil Al Zahlawi, and Manitowoc chief executive Aaron Ravenscroft.

NFT Nouman Fouad Trading) is based in Abu Dhabi and was established in 1987 when Nabil Al Zahlawi moved from Saudi Arabian Potain tower crane dealer AAA to Abu Dhabi to establish a company to exploit the potential in the UAE. The company added crane rental in 2000 and is now the largest owner of Potain tower cranes in the world. It operates in more than 36 countries and has locations in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Kuwait, Maasmechelen Belgium and the UK. It runs a 2,000 crane fleet and employs more the 1,000 technicians and other staff.
