Dingli India has appointed Pankaj Gupta to its board of directors. He previously worked with JLG where he was country manager for India for five and half years.
Gupta began his career in 1994 as a consultant at Price Waterhouse Management Consultants, leaving after three years for DCM Shiram as a manager. In 1999 he joined the construction equipment market as a marketing manager with crane and access equipment manufacturer Escorts. After five years with the company he moved to rental company Quippo where he was appointed vice president of sales leaving in 2006 for Hilti India where he took on the role of country manager, leaving for JLG in 2015.
Speaking of his new role Gupta said: "Joining Dingli India is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of an innovative company transforming work at height safety and efficiency. I look forward to leveraging my experience to drive Dingli's vision forward.”
At the same time Dingli has appointed R. Hariharan as chief executive for all activities in the countries in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation area which includes Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri-Lanka. He joins the company after more than 17 years as a regional manager with Hilti India.
