Italian truck mounted platform and spider lift manufacturer CTE has appointed Vermeer Midwest as its spider lift distributor for the Midwest region of the USA - Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Missouri. Vermeer will start off with two models - the 23 metre Traccess 230-75 and the 27 metre 270-88.
Established in 1971, the company operates from 13 locations in the territory, selling and renting and servicing Vermeer chippers and forestry equipment. As such it has a strong position in the forestry market, which is the predominant destination for Spider lifts in the USA.
