S.F.E was set up in 2019 with the merger of three pipe fabrication tooling and machinery companies: B&B Pipe and Industrial Tools and Mathey Dearman in the USA along with TAG Pipe Equipment Specialists in the UK. The company subsequently acquired Axxair in France in 2022,followed by US based Magnatech and Climax in 2023.
