David White moves up at MEC

MEC has promoted David White to president of its California Manufacturing and Engineering Company, which manufactures all MEC aerial work platforms and Telescopic Handlers.

A separate company MEC aerial work platform sales corporation is responsible for selling and marketing the MEC products.

White joined MEC in February 2005 as engineering manager and was later promoted to director of engineering and operations. Before joining MEC he had spent many years with UpRight rising to the post of senior vice president of engineering.

MEC’s manufacturing facilities are based in Selma, California within the site of the old UpRight facility. The company recently announced that it was planning to launch a full boom lift line.
