New LTM for Bruns

German crane rental company J Bruns of Hildesheim, has taken delivery of a new 500 tonne Liebherr LTM1500-8.1 All Terrain crane.

The new crane is destined for the erection of wind turbine towers and the exchange of blades and gearboxes.

Bruns director, Frank Bruns says that the company purchased the Liebherr for its fast erection time, lower fuel consumption and higher road speeds. “I feel confident of the efficiency of the LTM 1500-8.1 for the complete working range. My crane driver is thrilled by the logical and clear controls of the superstructure,” he said.

Bruns was founded in 1972 and has been purchasing Liebherr cranes since 1999, it now operates 20 cranes, half of which are Liebherr, it employs 60.
