United appoints Dixon
United Rentals, the world’s largest rental company has appointed Joseph Dixon as vice president sales, effective June ninth.
Dixon, an industry veteran with more than 20 years of equipment rental market experience, will lead the company's strategic sales and business development activities.

Joe Dixon
Prior to joining United, Dixon, 50, was vice president and general manager for JLG’s Service Plus, rebuild and product support operation.
Before that he served as vice president, pro business and equipment rental for Home Depot, with sales and management responsibility for 1,450 North American locations; and as division vice president of operations and field sales for Hertz Equipment, with executive responsibility for the company's equipment rental business.
