Six new Versalifts for Mayes
UK based Mayes Access Platform Services (MAPS) has purchased two Versalift 38NF with Canbus control systems, along with four new Ford Transit mounted Versalift 36NF.
The units are all destined for new utility contracts in London and expands the West Sussex company’s fleet to 24 Van Mounted aerial lifts, largely Versalift 12.5 to 14.2 metre models plus three GSR 125RA’s.
The bulk of the company’s work involves supplying street lighting companies such as Balfour Beatty, Colas, EML and David Websters in and around the UK Home Counties

Mayes has also moved into new workshops in Billingshurst, West Sussex, which includes space and equipment to carry out refurbishments and remounting of platforms.
Mayes Access was established by Steve Mayes around 10 yeas ago, as a repairer of powered access equipment. He is also managing director of Jekko UK – a sister company based at the same location.
Mayes said: “This is a family run business with, Craig, Rob and Chris the engineers, while Adam and Alison run the administration side. We pride ourselves on our extremely well maintained fleet of vehicles”.
