Rami signs Oka

Oka Oy, a construction subsidiary of the Lemminkäinen Group, has signed a five-year rental agreement with Ramirent Finland, the Finnish arm of the Helsinki based international rental company.

Founded in 1987, Oka Oy is based in Kouvola in Finland and operates from five locations in Southern Finland. Oka also works in Russia. It employs 500 and in 2008 had revenues of €235 million.

The company specialises in the construction and renovation of residential and non-residential buildings as well as premises for industrial and logistical use.

Jorma Tamminen, managing director of Oka said: “We have a long experience of working with Ramirent. With this agreement we can continue our good cooperation and at the same time release capital that has been tied up in our machinery operation. This solution adds flexibility and simplifies our fleet management.”
