Skyjack promotes Patterson and Liner

Skyjack has promoted Charlie Patterson and Eric Liner to new senior sales and operational roles.

Skyjack has appointed UK based Charlie Patterson – managing director for Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia – to vice president of international operations. In his new role he will be responsible for all Skyjack entities outside of North America, including the company’s businesses in Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Korea, Sweden and The United Kingdom.

Skyjack president Brad Boehler said: “Charlie has been an integral part of the Skyjack organisation for more than 13 years. His general management capabilities and commercial acumen have been instrumental in the success of many of Skyjack’s geographic expansions over recent years. As the company looks to build upon these successes I see his experience as key in ensuring our continued growth.”

Patterson added: “Skyjack has a simple vision - to be the easiest manufacturer to do business with. This reputation for simple reliability is one that our traditional markets have taken to their hearts and as we expand geographically those needs are more relevant than ever.”

At the same time the company announced the promotion of Eric Liner - regional vice president Western region – to vice president of North American sales.

In his new role he will be responsible for the direction, development and growth of the North American sales team, including four regional vice presidents and three vice presidents of national accounts.

Eric Liner

Boehler said: “Eric has been with Skyjack for 12 years and has held several positions including territory sales manager, and most recently regional vice president. I look forward to him bringing his in-depth sales experience to bear on a national scale, upholding Skyjack’s leadership position in scissor lifts and continuing to build on our momentum with both our boom and telehandler Products.”

Liner added: “I am excited with this new opportunity and look forward to the challenge of continuing to strengthen Skyjack’s position throughout North America, while maintaining focus on being easy to do business with.”

Brian Black will retain his position as vice president of sales.
