Successful first day at Vertikal Days

Well done to all at Vertikal Net for another great show.
By far the busiest to date with Wednesday being the best day ever having exhibiting at Vertikal Days for the past 9 years.
The only problem as mentioned was the traffic which i know put several visitors off.
Looking forward to 2016 i would personally like to see the show put back one month to June bearing in mind we have Bauma in Munich in April with Vertikal potentially just 3 weeks later !!.
I also agree with Craig Rooke that alternating the exhibition North / South would be a good idea every other year.
Facilities around the Cheltenham racecourse area can accommodate an exhibition of this size and has excellent hotel facilities.
Once again well done to all involved.

Firstly I echo the plaudits for all the organisation team who all work very hard to put this event on.
To comment on Mr Ambridges point about the traffic and location.
The show has grown so much over the years and its 10 years old next year so traffic alone from visitors and exhibitors is always going to create issues.
There was as you would of seen big road works at the motorway junction so this can't be the shows fault but I share your pain as I was sat in it but it could happen anywhere in the UK.
As for a more central location I have thought of this many times as I live near Birmingham and the drive home down the M6 is never fun after the show and to be fair the M6 is never fun anytime of the year but I don't know of another place that you could get a show on of this size with hotels so close and all that goes with it.
So long as it didn't move to the south east or west I am happy enough unless a better proposition is put forward.
As always we all as exhibitors have the opportunity to give the guys at Vertikal our feedback when they ask us to fill in the forms.
I hope Pam and the rest of the team get a chance to put their feet up this weekend and they should raise a glass to each other for another very successful show.
Also to close a really big thank you to MR SAFETY from all of us at Teupen, you will be missed and are more than welcome to share a German beer with us next year.

All at NMT Crane Hire would like to agree with the last comment and congratulate Leigh, Pam and the team for organising a great show,and on how they accommodated us with our stand,in particular with the difficult logistics of getting our equipment rigged and ready for opening day.
The show was a great success for us and long may it continue.
My only moans would be the traffic congestion and maybe a more central location such as Birmingham could be found??

Dear Mr Sparrow
We are all guilty of looking a gift horse in the mouth and generally moaning about stuff. I along with others forget or don't realise what a great job you do at Vertikal Days and how much effort it takes. We stand around at the show getting paid talking to our mates whilst getting fed and watered, yet moaning about it being the same old thing. We are disgraceful to your kind hospitality and thoughtfulness, I really feel it is not a commercial thing for you but just a selfless passion for the industry.
I think you put on a wonderful event and know it knocks the stuffing out of you, I would like to say thanks on behalf of the Access Industry and congratulate you on a great event that brings us all together. I am sure the crane guys think the same.
