More Holland Lifts for China

Holland Lift has shipped two more big scissor lifts to China for converter station maintenance work.

Its distributor Yacontee has taken delivery of an 88ft HL-285 E13 4WDS narrow aisle battery electric scissor lifts for onward delivery to the Shaoxing Converter Station in Zhejiang Province, where both hydro electric and coal fired power is being generated.
At the same time a 56ft HL-190 E25 full width scissor lift will go to Luoping Converter Station in Yunnan province where both wind and hydro power is being generated.

An earlier delivery to a China converter station, a 55ft HL190-EL12. ABB has won a contract to supply transformers and equipment to many of the converter stations, including Shaoxing

The government of China is currently implementing a massive upgrading of the national power grid and its transmission technology. The converter stations connect inland renewable, especially hydro electric sources to coastal load centres.
