More Skyjacks for Star
UK rental company Star Platforms has ordered 220 new Skyjack aerial work platforms, including SJ12 and SJ16 mast type lifts, SJIII SLAB electric scissor lifts, Rough Terrain scissor lifts and articulated boom lifts fitted with secondary guarding systems. The order will take the Star fleet to around 700 units, of which around 75 percent are said to be Skyjack machines.
Joint managing Richard Miller said: “We are a growing company and opened two new depots last year, for which we require more stock. Skyjack as a company is very easy to do business with, often a phone call can arrange a quick delivery of product to satisfy a customer’s need. After sales support is also straightforward and warranty claims are dealt with efficiently and quickly.”

Sales director Bryan Freeman added: “We are thrilled to be in a position to take another large delivery of Skyjack equipment into our fleet. We demand very high standards and pride ourselves in delivering first class service and first class kit to all our customers. The general availability is good, with quick delivery times when we run short of equipment”.

Fantastic achievement, with this rate of growth they should rename themselves Supernova Platforms, let’s hope they don’t become a Black Hole
