Near miss in Seoul
An All Terrain crane overturned onto a busy highway in Seoul, South Korea on Saturday - amazingly no one was hurt in the incident.
The crane was set up behind a barrier but was short rigged in order to allow the counterweight truck to fit between it and that barrier. The problem was that the boom was at too low an angle for the weight - and the crane lost stability with the boom dropping onto the truck bed and then across the road.
The crane operator jumped clear as the crane went over and was virtually catapulted to the ground as he did so. However he picked himself up and seemed to be relatively unharmed. The entire scene was caught via a dash cam, and published on Liveleak, so you can see it for yourself.

After more thorough analysis - I am convinced, that the operator remained in the cab for a whole time. The cab hist the barrier and get's tilted, so at the end it is as horizontal as it was. No time to jump out, no need to either. The man who jumps out, most probably is the rigger who jumps out of the truck that brought the counterballasts.

I think it was not the operator that got catapulted out of the crane, but perhaps some rigger who was on the undercarriage at the moment.
LMI program wrongly set up or no LMI program for completely retracted outriggers?
Taking a second look, the outriggers may be down between the crane and the wagon but they aren't extended. That's what probably saved the operator... He was so close, the counterweight on the back of the trailer forced his cab up rather than it tip on to it and get crushed.
Looks like they were loading/unloading the ballast. The extra man was probably the slinger/ballast wagon driver.

There is a second person in the cabin ?
