Big Kalmar lifts for Finland
Finnish industrial services provider Pentti Hämeenaho has ordered two heavy duty 62 tonne DCG620-15 Kalmar forklift trucks.
The new fork trucks will be the heaviest delivered by Kalmar since a 90 tonne model it built in 1991. They will be used to handle steel coils weighing between five and 30 tonnes. The company, based at the Raahe steel mill in north west Finland, will take delivery of the machines in the next month.

rather than use a scaffold tower, aerial lift or even a decent ladder they have employed a Genie material lift and simply put a pallet on the forklifts.
