New GGR HQ under construction

UK mini crane and glass handling group GGR has begun construction on new headquarters.

Located close to its current facility in Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire, the site is a five minute walk from Hadeenham Rail Station, with direct links to and from London. The building will provide over 2,000 square metres of offices, training and conference facilities and create additional room for growth and expansion, whilst it will also include over 7,400 square metres of warehouse facilities. Construction is expected to be completed in November.

Chief executive Graeme Riley said: “The relocation and new build comes at a time when GGR is set to grow significantly. We are committed to the Long Crendon area and it is the home to a huge amount of our work force. The new European headquarters will be the central hub for our business operations and will bring all of our current procedures in Long Crendon under one roof. This is a very exciting time for GGR Group and we are looking forward to the future”.

Great news. Its inspirational to see such an established and well run business pushing forward whilst remaining close to its roots. The local workforce, and wider local economy, will benefit in the long run. Congratulations to Graeme and the team.
