Italian spider lift manufacturer Palazzani is adding its Lifting Kit platform as an option on all of its new + models.
The Lifting Kit platform includes a range of different lifting accessories that allow operators to easily and safely lift various material alongside the work platform. They include:
- A 100kg capacity davit type jib with fixed hook and two height positions, designed for objects such as antenna components etc…
- 100kg sheet material lift brackets, designed to carry sheet material such as glass, plywood of ceramic sheets.
- Pipe rack/brackets, once again with a maximum capacity of 100kg for long tubes or length of timber. The supports have three different height positions.
The attachments are designed for lifting materials from the ground to the workplace alongside the platform with an operator on board. The machine’s overload and control system will set the maximum working/lifting envelope to match the machine’s set up and total load in the platform. Wind limitations are of course a factor, so the company recommends the installation of a platform mounted anemometer when using the attachments.
The attachment was initially only compatible with the 52 metre XTJ 52+ but can now be ordered with the 48 metre XTJ 48+, 43 metre XTJ 43+, 37 metre XTJ 37+, 30 metre TSJ 30.1, and 27 metre TSJ 27, all of which will have a 330kg maximum platform capacity.
