New CEO for CPA
The UK’s Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) - which among other things is the country’s crane association - has appointed Kevin Minton as chief executive.
Minton replaces Colin Wood, who has made the decision to step down from the position and retire, although he will be available on a consulting basis during a transition period. Minton has worked for the CPA since 2007 and was initially senior manager before being promoted to director in 2013. In his new role he will report to CPA’s governing council and work alongside company president Brian Jones.

Many congratulations Kevin, a richly deserved appointment. I have no doubt that his promotion will have a positive impact for the association and its membership. We look forward to see where he takes the CPA in the future and sincerely hope that he listens to the genuine needs of its members as opposed to other industry bodies.
