Ron Eickhoff 1958-2019
We have received the sad news that Ron Eickhoff, a senior field inspector with Rouse Asset Services and a crane industry veteran has died, he was 61.
He passed away in hospital last Wednesday September 4th in the Kingsland, Georgia, area where he lived. He has worked with California based Rouse since 2012 and not only in North America, he was a frequent visitor to Europe, taking extended trips to work with some of the largest rental companies in the English speaking region, including Ainscough Crane Hire, AFI, Speedy and Brandons.

Ron Eickhoff
Before becoming an inspector he was national All Terrain crane fleet manager with Maxim Crane Works, having joined the company as a regional manager in 2006 following a military career. Born in Highland Park, Michigan, he joined the US Army in 1976 and transferred to the Navy in 1981, culminating in the role of director of port operations and the rank of Lieutenant commander. He retired from the Navy in 2006 after 30 years with the armed forces
He is survived by his wife of 39 years Julia, their son, Daniel and daughters, Miranda and Savannah along with a good many grandchildren. His funeral service, with full military honours, will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, September 11th at the Jacksonville National Cemetery in Florida at 10:00.
