Crane drops boom
The boom of a lattice crawler crane crashed down onto a bridge in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, on Tuesday.
The crane, a Terex /American HC275 owned by infrastructure contractor Flatiron, was working on the construction of the new Peace River bridge, when a pendant line apparently failed causing the boom to drop. Thankfully no one was hurt in the incident.

The Alberta Transportation and Occupational Health and Safety is investigating but has given the all clear for the clean up operation and crane removal to begin.
Construction of the new bridge, which is being built alongside the old one, got underway towards the end of 2017 and should be completed later this year.
