This was apparently taken shortly after the incident is reported to have occurred
The crane, which looks like one of Mammoet’s Demag CC-3800s, was working on a dock side when it seems the operator was in the process of lowering the boom of jib, when the crane lost stability and tipped forward, we understand that no one was hurt or injured in the incident.

Dear Vertikal, thank you for your reply. I would suggest removing the feature. Alternatively, keep it but change it such that if someone gives a thumbs down, they can only do so if they comment as to why they have done so.
Vertikal is a force for the good but it seems to be infiltrated by some sick individuals.

Harry you will never stop the sick one's nothing better to do.

Harry you make a good point and maybe the thumbs up feature has had its day? It was intended to allow people to show if they agreed or supported a good comment, or did not appreciate a bad one, but there are some who cannot but help give a thumbs down regardless of how well thought through or sensible a comment. To the point where we disable the thumbs down feature on obituaries due to such abuse. It is sad that it should come to that.
Thank you for your comment

Dear Vertikal, what is point of the thumbs up and thumbs down feature? This thread is a classic example. Crane lads makes a very agreeable comment but at least 2 people have given it a thumbs down. Why?

Saving grace the ballast is chained in place as it could of read in the title driver crushed by ballast

Looks a little light on the back end to me for that configuration, not enough ballast....but i expect the operator can speak Dutch.
