A new powered access and telehandler sales company/distributor has been established in Russia by two ex-employees of sales and rental company LTECH.
Sergey Chunin who was previously with the company’s Moscow sales team and, Dmitry Pankin the former head of the office in Nizhniy Novgorod have teamed up to form Vertex.
The company is already operational with 15 employees at two locations – Moscow and Nizhniy Novgorod and is actively selling products from Dieci, Maber, Oil&Steel, JLG, Genie, Barin and Niftylift, at this stage any agreements are on a non-exclusive basis although Barin among others has appointed the young company as its distributor, with a review scheduled for next year.

Vertex says that it is also looking to develop a locally produced truck mounted lift in co-operation with ST-Nizhegorodets, a major manufacturer of commercial vehicles.
The founders say that field service is supported by partners in 116 cities in co-operation with ST-Nizhegorodets.
The two founders have spent six years in the access business and believe that they can build a more western style dedicated distribution company for selling and supporting access equipment in the Russian market.
