National accounts promotion at Ainscough

UK rental company Ainscough Crane Hire has promoted Vince Ramsden to head of national accounts.

He was previously key accounts manager, but in his new position will be responsible for strengthening Ainscough’s industry presence over a wider basis.

Ramsden has recently completed the company’s ‘Leadership Development Programme’ which aims to develop its future leaders and senior management, by providing participants with the skills necessary to run the business.

Ramsden said: “I am delighted to be taking on this new challenge. I got a lot out of the Leadership Development Programme and have enjoyed my 14 years at Ainscough. I look forward to delivering real added value to our National Accounts. I will be field based and customer facing, explaining why Ainscough should be the partner of choice for lifting services.”

Sales director Leigh Webb added: “Vince began his career as a slinger/ banksman on the Channel Tunnel and has 20 years’ experience in customer facing roles within the crane hire industry. He will lead the team that looks after our largest clients and will work closely with the National Hire Centre to deliver an unrivalled customer experience for clients that require a partner with a true national coverage delivered through local relationships.”
