First Niftylift HR15 Hybrid for Ireland
Irish rental company FAL Hire has taken delivery of the country’s first 45ft Niftylift HR15 Hybrid self-propelled boom lift.
The new machine, supplied through Glendun Plant Sales, offers 9.2 metres of outreach and a working height of 15.6 metres. Powered by a Tier 4 engine fitted with a particulate filter to further reduce emissions, the lift went straight out on rent on a job where it needed to work both inside and out. Overall weight is 4,250kg making it the lightest model in this height range on the market.

Martin and Jonny Leonard of FAL Hire
Jonny Leonard from FAL Hire said: “We were in the market for a 45ft boom, and with us having such a long trusting relationship with Dermot, we decided to go for something a bit different. The boom has proved very popular so far, for both inside and outside work.”
Dermot Cunnie of Glendun Plant Sales added: “We are delighted to place the first HR15 boom in Ireland with such a long established customer as FAL Hire. In fact, the machine had only landed when we received another order straight away from U Hire for an identical machine. The benefits of true Hybrid power are very appealing to rental customers to increase utilisation.”
