Another suspended platform failure
Two men cleaning windows on a high rise building in New York, were injured yesterday after one of the hoists failed on their suspended platform, leaving it swinging precariously at a steep angle.
Firefighters decide to rescue the two by cutting a hole in the glass façade of the 16th floor of the building at 33 Maiden Lane in lower Manhattan. The entire rescue operation took around 30 minutes and the two men suffered only minor injuries and were treated in hospital and released.

Glad to hear they only had minor injuries, but I bet they needed clean underpants.
