Based upon Dave's progress with successful tenured manufacturers this appointment looks like a hand in glove fit aimed to benefit the industry in all regards. I suggest that Dave develop a younger person by shadow training and assistance to broaden the marketing efforts and spread the results on a global scale. This case is unique in human resource management by fitting the job to the person.

Congratulations Dave
Good move!
I'm sure that your friendly and down to earth personality will get you good results in your new role.
You leave Genie with another recruitment issue. You will be hard to replace.

Nice to see Mr Whiteman finally investing in the market from which IPAF derive 80% of their revenues. Let us hope that this is not just a P.R. exercise providing lip-service to the UK membership. Sincerely hope Dave Roddy is given the resource and support to take views and concerns of independent members forward for serious debate and consideration.
