Southern Cranes & Access orders Liebherr

Southern Cranes & Access has ordered five new Liebherr cranes adding to the order for an MK 140 mobile self-erecting tower crane placed at Vertikal Days last year, which has now been delivered.

The five All Terrains, include the 70 tonne LTM 1070-4.2, 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1, 130 tonne five axle LTM 1130-5.1, 130 tonne six axle LTM 1300-6.2 and 450 tonne LTM 1450-8.1 with deliveries scheduled over the next 12 months.

Southern Crane & Access' new Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2

The new eight axle LTM 1450-8.1 features an 85 metre main boom has been specified with a luffing jib. It can travel with a 12 tonne axle loads, complete with full boom, outriggers and winch, for fast set up on site. The crane features VarioBallast adjustable counterweight and Variobase outrigger set up system.
