Goodall joins the company from Tadano UK, having started his crane career in 2007, with Tadano’s UK distributor Cranes UK. Tadano acquired [https://vertikal.net/en/news/story/19880/tadano-acquires-cranes-uk](Cranes UK from owner Joe Lyon in 2014) and Goodall remained with the business as sales manager. He also remained when Tadano acquired Demag and merged the two UK operations.

Prior to 2007 Goodall spent nine years with computer and software company Praxsoft, having started out with the company in 1998.
Speaking of his new role he said: “I’m very much looking forward to meeting some new customers as well as working with some familiar faces from days gone by. I’m particularly excited to be dealing with lattice boom and telescopic crawler cranes and the unplugged options are especially innovative. Liebherr looks set to establish a new benchmark for zero emission requirements with these models - they are sure to be a market leader.”
Managing director Richard Everist added: “Paul joins us with a wealth of experience in our industry and will be familiar with a number of our accounts, having worked for one of our competitors for many years previously. We are delighted he has now seen the light!”

Great addition for Liebherr, huge loss for Tadano. Paul has carried Tadano in the UK sales wise for a number of years. Be very tough to replace him.
