Ramirent expands in Norway

Finnish based international rental company Ramirent has acquired Rogaland Planbygg the leading provider of temporary accommodation and office modules to the oil and gas industry in Norway.

The acquisition will bring around €22 million of additional revenues to Ramirent Norway, will expanding its customer base. Ramirent Norway had revenues in 2010 of €114 million from its 45 outlets.

Founded in 1997, Rogaland Planbygg is based in Stavanger and specialises in the high-class module market and has strong relationships in the growing oil and gas industry in Norway.

Larsen, senior vice president of Ramirent Norway said: ”The acquisition will strengthen our presence in the industry segment in Norway, which is one of our strategic priorities in the coming years. Rogaland Planbygg’s broad relationships in the oil & gas industry will help us offer also our other product groups this important industrial sector in Norway.
