Some things never change

Spotted in the UK last Thursday two men in the using a steel trestle, a few planks and two ladders to work at height.

Our reader probably describes it best:
“Hi Vertikal team, I drove past this today at 4pm in Ringwood, Hampshire. Poor work at height equipment and the man on the pavement at the end was watching the traffic!! Why can't these people get caught and prosecuted more often and then perhaps they'll learn !!!”

Using what you have to hand is sill very popular when it comes to low level access

We have certainly seen a lot worse than this, but given that it is now eight years since European and local legislation effectively ruled out this sort of access equipment, at least set up in this manner, it is amazing how many tradesmen still continue to take risks like this. Certainly one to pop into our Death Wish series.

One wonders if they had a pavement (sidewalk) licence for this 'get-up'?
